Last day skiing in Chile. Full morning in Valle Nevado before heading to the Santiago airport to catch international flights back home. BB.
After your arrival at Ezeiza Buenos Aires International Airport you will be welcomed by the two guides who will be travelling along with you through the entire trip. In order to catch our flight to the city of Bariloche, we take a short transfer to the Buenos Aires Jorge Newbery domestic airport, and will be arriving at the head city of the Argentinean Lake District. As our flight departs early from BA we strongly recommend our guests to arrive at least a day early.
We arrive at Bariloche late in the morning giving us enough time to hit the slopes for a few hours. This famous Swiss-styled city will be home for the next three nights. The Bariloche experience is truly amazing. Based alongside the Nahuel Huapi Lake, in the heart of the Lake District and surrounded by the spectacular snowed capped Patagonian Andes and magical forests, this city can’t be matched in style, international and local cuisine, nightlife, chocolate houses, casinos or its many discos by any other ski resort.
Facing the beautiful Gutierrez Lake and surrounding peaks, and minutes away from the Cerro Catedral Ski Resort our cozy hotel features a heated in-out swimming pool, a restaurant, bar, massage rooms, fitness centre and more. We have a really special welcome dinner ready courtesy of Andes Ski Tours. Enjoy!
After having breakfast we hit the slopes of this European style resort. With a covered, 6-passenger, high-speed chair called the "Super bubble" and a high-speed quad added a couple of years ago, we can reach the top of Punta Nevada in only 17 minutes. After consistent investments Cerro Catedral Alta Patagonia is now the most developed ski resort in South America with 38 lifts.
Locals´ choice was to hike or traverse into the fun steep chutes and bowls of Las Nubes. Most people ascend now on the new Las Nubes quad chair. Also the new attraction is the La Laguna poma which accesses one of the best off-piste areas on the mountain.
After a intense day of exploring there will be some free time to spend the late afternoon in Villa Catedral, the small village at the base. Before we go back to our hotel you can enjoy a typical cup of "Chocolate Caliente", drink a cold local beer or just hang out with your new friends. Thinking about nightlife? Bariloche has it all! Check out one of the many pubs in town that offer live music, have a lot of fun and meet the incredibly friendly local people!
Catedral Alta Patagonia claims to be the Most Developed Ski Resort in South America. The only tram in Argentina and Chile, the state-of-the-art lift ticket system, the 6 passenger detachable high-speed chairlift and the new snow-making system confirm this. This area offers excellent fast cruising runs, and some really good tree skiing and riding, such as La Palmera and Segundo Lomo, north of the Piedra del Condor.

Looking for the chance to fly? Parasailing is offered at Piedra del Condor. Three summit areas define Catedral ski area. Piedra del Condor, Punta Nevada and Punta Princesa. From the top at 2,050 meters (6,725 ft.) the vistas of the Andes and the Nahuel Huapi and Gutierrez lakes are amazing. On a clear day you are sure to enjoy the unforgettable views of the nearby volcanoes of Argentina and Chile! If you still have strength Bariloche has always something different to offer!
Today we drive west into Puerto Montt, Chile. We will have some time to stop in downtown Bariloche for the last time before we hit the road. The drive will take us through forests, lakes and mountains in the heart of the Patagonia Lake District. We first cross the border where the landscape changes drastically. Green fields and snowed peaks await on the West of the Andes.
Once in Chile we head to the Puerto Montt airport in order to fly to the city of Concepcion. The flight takes a bit more than one hour and our hotel is located right next to the airport. We spend the night here and get ready to ski the unique resort of Nevados de Chillan!

Get ready! We have an active day ahead of us! We start our day early in the city of Concepcion and ride up the mountains for a bit less than 2 hoursdrive heading east deep into the Chilean Andes.

After enjoying the views of the snow capped mountains, forests and streams we arrive at Nevados de Chillan ski resort at 1,600 meters (5,248 ft). This world-class still-unknown ski & spa resort will be our playground for the next three days. We’ll be staying at the deluxe Termas de Chillan Grand Hotel.
After checking in we will go skiing for a few hours. Today we get familiar with the mountain and lift system. A delicious gourmet dinner will be served early. Welcome to Chillan!

Nevados de Chillan is one of the top five ski resorts in all South America. It perfectly combines awesome powder, superb terrain, hot springs and excellent accommodation. But yet, it still remains undiscovered by most foreign skiers and riders. Today we’ll focus on powder. With hundreds of steep chutes, wide open bowls and up to 7-mile long cruising groomers, there’s always new terrain to explore. From the top of the El Fresco and Don Otto lifts the views of the Andes, forests and surrounding volcanoes are just unbeatable. Climbing from the base area to the summit at 2,700 meters (8,200 ft) this resort features 9 lifts with a vertical drop of 1,100 meters (3,608 ft). After a great day in the mountains, it’s time to relax. Our hotel offers an indoor and outdoor hot spring pool, sauna, a full spa and massages. Enjoy the après ski activities and be delighted with the excellent cuisine. Still have strength? A lively pub, a brand new casino and disco are waiting for you!
After a good night’s sleep and an early breakfast we hit the slopes of Chillan and its great powder again. Today we’ll explore the off-piste and backcountry terrain this mountain offers. There are many great options traversing east from the top of the Don Otto chair. From this area we can access the famous Pirigallo Bowl.
If you want to push your limits excellent hikes are available too. Also, if you’re in good shape and want to experience an unparalleled descend through untouched powder you can climb up to the summit of the Chillan Volcano. It’ll take a few hours to reach the top but it’s definitely worth the effort. No climbing skills are required. And if you are not looking to hike snowcat skiing will be available too. Do not forget to book your seat in advance.
For those looking for a more relaxed pace the resort offers a wide variety of groomed trails including the longest run in South America called Las Tres Marias.
After skiing fun continues. Let’s enjoy dinner in Nevados de Chillan for the last time - this year - and get ready to party with locals and other skiers and snowboarders from all over the world.

Good morning! Today our guests will have a few hours to carve their last turns before leaving Nevados de Chillan. After lunch we start our drive back to Concepcion as we have a 5.45 pm Lan Chile flight to Santiago.
Once we are arrived we will drive to Las Condes district and will check it at the Santiago Marriott Hotel.
Santiago is a fantastic city and has a lot to offer from colonial culture, history, interesting people, fun bars and excellent restaurants including the famous Puerto Fuy, Zanzibar, Anakena and Astrid y Gaston.
Tomorrow we will ski Valle Nevado ski resort one of the best ski areas in Chile and all South America.

Around 8 in the morning and dressed for skiing we will start our adventure with a short but picturesque drive (2 hours) along the Mapocho River, heading east deep into the Chilean Andes. After enjoying this breathtaking mountain road views we arrive at Valle Nevado at 3,025 meters (9,860 ft). This world-class resort featuring the largest skiable area in South America will be home for the next four nights.
Get ready, today the fun begins! Don't worry about checking-in on time or having your luggage sent to your room. We will take care of it. Your main concern now is to have your skis and snowboards ready for your first powder day in the Andes!
Today we will explore the fun slopes of Valle Nevado and its famous powder. Here, with the summit elevation at 3,670 meters (12,040 ft.) the quality of snow is simply excellent.
After this active day we will enjoy an après ski snack at our cozy slope side hotel. Remember breakfast and dinner are included with our stay as well.

You've just woke up at 9860 ft. in the heart of the massive Cordillera de los Andes! Today we ski and ride the pristine powder of Valle Nevado.
After breakfast we hit the slopes of this major ski resort in Chile. With lifts quickly climbing from the Base Prado at 2,860 meters (9,384 ft.) to Cerro Tres Puntas at 3,670 meters (12,040 ft.) this all-above-tree-line resort offers a variety of runs and fun slopes, wide open bowls, steeps and chutes.
In almost all of our tours our guests decided to go heli-skiing. Reaching the surrounding high peaks of the Andes at 4,300 meters (14,100 ft.) is an unforgettable experience for those who want to ski and ride the deep and untouched powder of the Southern Hemisphere.
After a great day in the mountains it is time to indulge. The hotels here offer a heated pool, sauna, weight room and massage. Enjoy the après ski activities and choose one of the four different restaurants. From Chilean to Italian, French, American and International the cuisine is delicious. After dinner bars and live music are waiting for you!

For the next two days we hit the slopes of Valle Nevado and its great powder. We will focus on skiing and snowboarding at the largest South American ski resort. Thanks to the lift link between La Parva, El Colorado and Valle Nevado, the skiable area here is huge.
And as we provide you with a 3-mountain lift ticket you'll be free to decide where you want to ski without being limited to one ski area only. If you want to push your limits parasailing, snowmobiling and heli-skiing are available. This unique adventure lets you experience the magic of the Andes. Discover glaciers, slopes covered with eternal snow and spectacular descents through untouched powder. After skiing fun continues. Let's enjoy dinner in Valle Nevado one more time and get ready to party with locals and other skiers and snowboarders from all over the world.
Today we have several hours to ski Valle Nevado. For those leaving Chile this evening we will ride down to the Santiago airport on time to catch all international departures. If your choice is to extend your stay in Valle Nevado or explore any other destination in Chile or Argentina as well we would be pleased to assist you with your arrangements. It is at the Santiago airport where our guides will say good bye until next year. Have a safe flight home!
