Safety
	Safety is a high priority to Andes Ski Tours. Our experienced guides will always keep an eye on your safety. They are certified in Avalanche Safety Awareness, are trained in First Aid procedures and are always in contact with the Cerro Castor, Catedral, Chapelco and Las Lenas ski patrols who monitor the snowpack throughout the season. Pursuing higher safety standards, whether on or off piste, our guests will be outfitted with BCA Tracker avalanche transceivers. Also several of them may be given lightweight packs containing a shovel and an avalanche probe. Based on each group skills and avalanche training our guides and trip leaders will be ready to provide guests with basic training on avalanche safety, rescue procedures and use of transceiver, shovel and probe. We believe education and training are key to safely ski and ride the Andean off-piste and backcountry areas.
